Dumped dogs

My mind is busy today.

I should say they keep me busy. I keep thinking about the dogs dumped here and the little piglet I found next to one. The eyes are still closed which makes me think if

1. The owner of those great dogs dumped them here with food (= piglet or more piglets).
2. The dogs went for a walk and the little "Babe" joined them.
3. The dogs were out hunting and saved their prey because it looks so cute.
4. ?

The facts

• piglet is not eaten
• piglet is very young
• the dogs are not skinny
• the dogs did not return to it after I left.

So many unanswered questions. I believe these are boxers.

This morning I met them again.
It rained, snowed and was cold.
I opened the window and amazingly enough the most scared of the two followed my car. I drove as slow as I could because the other dog had a hard time following.

I figured out I could let them into the house or barn so they had a shelter for the cold winter day and take a nap. Later I would bring them some food.

It all went different as expected.
As soon as I stopped the car and opened the door their fear came back. For a moment they hesitated but ran off. Now I have two containers dog food in my car and wait if they show up again.

I think someone beat the crap out of them so they wouldn't dare to follow the car. They are used to do it that's clear to me. Perhaps they are on their way home now.
