Dancing.

From a tower window in Nottingham Castle, two men stared down into the moonlit courtyard.

It was as boring as usual. A reunion with the family never turned out to be the great spectacle announced on the invitation.

This time they decided to hide till the party was over. No one ever visited the tower. Too many steps to take for the fat and lazy family. No one noticed it as they left. It was at the moment the old fossil started his speech and the rest started drinking even more and the music kept playing although not a single soul could dance.

"There is usually a picnic with dancing and singing."
Both turned around and stared at the owner of the voice. They never met her before.

"Who are you if I may ask. I cannot remember what we met before. This place isn't open to the public."

"I could ask you the same. This is my home. I cannot remember I invited you."

The two cousins stared at her and couldn't think out anything smart to say.
It was hard to tell who was the intruder. In front of their eyes, she grew taller and taller and it wouldn't take long before she filled the entire room.

"We better get out of here before she wrecks the whole place."

Both ran into the direction of the door.

"You could at least dance with me. The night is still young", she sang as she forced her head through the doorway. Her ear hurt but she didn't care. It had been at least 900 years she had met a man she could dance with and would not easily let go of these two.
