Favourite house chorus?
I have no favourite house chorus and it is not relaxing or therapeutic.
It takes my energy and time, it is dull work that repeats itself plus it is ungrateful to do.
The older I get the less I do. I no longer feel the need to clean up the place. I haven't visitors and my children do not care.
Dust can wait and comes back no matter what I do. I waisted enough hours in my life cleaning up. I even gave up my night rest for it. These days are over.
Children seem to love touching the walls with their hands and wolves press noses against the windows, flies shit on it, and no matter if I cook there are always dishes and pots and pans to wash.
My mother was fanatical if it comes to cleaning up the place.
We had a housekeeper and two cleaning ladies. After they left we kids had to clean up the place again.
If we wanted to go upstairs our feet were vacuumed first. Something that touched the ground needed to be washed.
She scrubbed the skin of my elbows and knees with a wire brush to get the dirt of it. Dirt? It was my skin. My skin is not white like hers. If you cannot stop cleaning there is something seriously wrong with you and you need help.
There are no great house chorus but there are things I never do.
Using a vacuum cleaner for example. I still have a small one or actually, it belongs to my kid. I rarely wash windows and I am happy I never need to clean a fridge (I do not have one).
There is a lot I do not like but I still do.
Taking care of the garbage, the wolves' their shit, cleaning the fireplace, washing the dishes, cleaning the stove, the toilet and shoes with shit underneath, washing the car, doing the laundry (we never ironing), cleaning sinks, the drains, etc.
I do it all. The only good thing about house chorus is it is (kind of) clean after you did it but that only takes a few minutes.

Hahaha.. we a lot of things around the house chores to do no matter how we hate it 😁 I don't have any favourite's house chores.. coz I think I can do that later..
@cicisaja You are right. Most of it can wait. There are more important things like enjoying and investing time with your children, family, friends, do the things we vannot do or enjoy in the same way once we are sick or old. ❤️

Yes so true. We should spend our time with family and friends instead of slugging through chores. It must have been a challebgr living with your mother with her monitoring everything like that. Sometimes it is what people would say that the person has OCD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?
For me, it is hard not see dust and dirt. My nose will start sneezing, so it would be better to just take a few minutes to wipe the dust away or sweep the dirt away. Else I don’t think I am happy. I might have some OCD too.

If you see ""mountains of sand" and "heaps of dust" in a house that is cleaned three times a day and no one dares to breath there's something seriously wrong with you.
She wrote manuals how to clean everything, how many times to wipe a door, etc and counted it. You had to do exactly the time she wrote down/had in mind about cleaning it. If you were faster or slower it was not clean. Fact was it was never dirty.
