The classic itself Doom 3 | Retro !

When we say Doom we mean a game without surprises, simple and good from the gameplay point of view. Although the plot doesn't kidnap, we play as a soldier, we get the task of investigating strange events in a research unit on the planet Mars - and that's all, that's enough, because it's not about the plot you're talking about.

Arsenal
As the game is mainly about fighting various demons, zombies and other filthy things were given into our hands quite a large set of weapons. From rifles, through shotguns, pistols, rocket launchers to plasma weapons. In the game, action is the main priority and the authors have made it very far away, one thing you could hang on to is not very intelligent enemies, but it is not bad anyway.

To make sure that the continuous shooting was not too monotonous, we tried to vary the gameplay in the form of an additional mission from the encountered NPC or some simple environmental puzzle - nothing special but definitely a plus.

Environment
Doom 3 gave us very good visual effects on the day of its premiere. Despite the fact that the majority of the game time we spend in claustrophobic tunnels, their design was done decently. Besides, all the lighting, shadows and textures are first quality.

To sum up, Doom 3 should be played by every fan of the genre if they haven't already done so. This is a production that has set the direction that other FPSs will follow for many years to come.

There are 2 DLCs released for the game called The Lost Mission and Resurrection of Evil, which are a development of the history of the game. Currently, they can be purchased in the so-called BFG Edition, which additionally contains the old parts of the game.
