Do you hide easter eggs in your images?

in #photofeed8 years ago (edited)

No, I am not talking about chocolate shaped like an egg, I'm talking about "A hidden item placed in a movie, television show, or otherwise visual media for close watchers. " Urban dictionary

I do!

Do you see it?!

If you still have no clue what I'm talking about, on the cover of that book, under her hand there is my name on the cover. It's small and hard to spot but it's a special feeling when somebody actually notices when I hide stuff in my images. Most of the time I place them while editing, in photoshop and to be honest most of the time I spend hours making them as invisible as possible so only a few people will notice.

Also here's a before and after gif for this image.

I love Easter eggs (chocolate and otherwise - LOL!). It's actually not something I've even thought to do in one of my photos (that I can recall, anyway), but I love searching them out in graphics, games, movies, and such. Thanks for putting this idea in my brain, and I love the subtle way you dropped one in this shot!

Oh, and I'm here thanks to your spotlight on @positivexposure - congrats and excellent stuff!

thanks, I have some more in my images, some day i will post more

Coolness! I'll keep my eyes open for them. 😊

Phew, I thought you put a four-leaf clover in there somewhere and I was going to settle in with a coffee and spend a couple hours looking for it. ;)

But to answer your question: yes.

Wow those are amazing you should make a post about your composing work.

Im sure you can find four-leaf clover in my image if you take your time

Thanks! I may some day. Unfortunately I haven't done much of it lately - landscapes have take over, but I sure do love composites!

Too cool, man! I love it! I have photoshopped my own photos into picture frames hanging in the wall in the background before. That's about it. Something to keep in mind for my next shoot! :D

if i inspired you to do something like this send me a link when you do it

I will indeed!

I haven't tried. but most of my shots are straight out of camera with a bit of processing. I haven't worked photoshop into my flow yet.

I think its a personal preference thing. I for example do think capture pros render engine is so much better than adobes but im so used ti lightroom that i find it hard to do the switch

Love it! It's the little things. ;)

all those little things create the bigger picture

Haha, I haven’t ever done this, but maybe one day!

if you do it let me know

Dude, I love it! I really appreciate how intentional and thoughtful you are about your photos. Makes it transcend just good photography into some real art.

After a few hours photoshoping grass and flowers i felt the need ti sing this photo but watermarks are just disruptive so i singed it in an delicate way

Oh man, that is cool. I'd love to do the same, but I think I'd have to get it custom printed.

having some items custom made to place in random shoots would make it even better imho
