I photographed this dazzling Forsythia
at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.

Located in Dallas, Texas USA

I wish I had this planted in my yard!
It's such a stunning flower.

Have a Blessed Day!

All photos are my originals taken on my Canon PowerShot.

Sort:

My mum has a forsythia. It is actually quite popular bush in Poland since it is one of the first in bloom. And it's so soooo yellow :D

Wow, that is so cool to know that these are popular in Poland! They seem to be the first to bloom in the spring a lot of countries!

They are :D Covered in yellow flowers when all the other trees are still naked.

There were some of those planted at the UBC Botanical Gardens. Some of the first flowering bushes. They were my early sunshine in the dark, rainy season. Beautiful shots, Violet:)

Yes, so exciting to see these! I don't think I saw one until I went to college in Austin, TX, because I grew up in the desert city of El Paso, Texas!!

Love to see both those places:)

This is one of my favorites to grow as #bonsai, because it stays so healthy with almost no die-back each year. It flowered for the first time this year (it skipped the first season after winter).

Now the green leaves are pushing out.

I really enjoyed this post of yours @violetmed. Keep it up.

These flowers didn't come up yet in Korea. They are considered the first sign of spring and are pronounced "ganarae". They will probably come up next week. I call them golden bells.

Yes, they do look like golden bells and thanks for telling me the name from Korea. I now have 3 different countries represented telling me that they have Forsythia bloom in the spring in their countries. Poland, Canada and Korea - Steemit is so cool because you learn so much when people are kind enough to reply on your posts!

woow..

this is bungong seulanga.

That is a different plant, but it is also very beautiful!

I think this tree has a very delicious smell :) ?

Some people say it has a slight fragrance. The ones that I photographed didn't really smell - but it was a cool day and I think on a warm day you would be able to smell it better! I read that there is a white forsythia that has a definite lovely smell!

Such an amazing shot those little yellowe follower made it more beatiful to look whish I had it in my yard
