Spring Planting on a Windy Day

I just planted these succulents in this adorable pot that
my daughter gave me at Christmas!
Above is the front side and below is the back side of the pot.
My pansies are hanging in there!
Once the daytime temperature reaches 90 F, then they will quickly fade away!
What does the black in the middle of these pansies remind you of?
@whack.science pointed out to me in a previous post what he saw!
I planted 2 Red Tiara Azaleas today.
It is supposed to be a repeat blooming azalea with vivid red blooms that is disease and pest resistant.
Here is one of them.
We are having a extremely, windy spring day; which is not unusual for us here in North Texas!

That was a well-chosen present your daughter has given you. Especially I am in favor of the succulents you planted in there. Those little steps give it a special design. Very pretty.
I can see the love you put into this arrangement and the appreciation of flowers and what colors plants let our eyes enjoy.

Rainy season has begun here and with it power outages. We had no power for almost 7 hours today. It's a hard thing to get used to when the weather changes! Thankfully we have no wind and I do love the rains (as long as I'm not out stuck in them). :) We have sun until about 10 when the clouds roll in and the rains start around 1, but today they were over around 5 or so. Not so bad. :) Great pics and lovely flowers. I love the pot. It's adorable!
Well, the wind was blowing from the south with wind gusts up to 22 mph today! Well, at least it doesn't rain all day and night!

It has been very rainy these last few days but today is sunnier. I love that little pot and what you did with it, Violet. You can't help but smile:) The dark part of they pansy reminds me of a ribbon:) Hope you are having a wonderful day.
It is 43 degrees F. Damp and rain/snow kind of day. Hoping we don't get the winds they are predicting from the south! Beautiful azailias, you will have to tell me your secret! I haven't had much luck with them or feushas. I love them both. Sort of looks like an angel to me :) beautiful spring flowers.
Well, @warpedweaver, these is my first try at planting azaleas back in my yard! They are hard to keep alive, but I'm going to try and feed them the right plant food and hope for the best!
Good luck! Looking forward to seeing more. :) Weather is getting some better, but doubt their will be garden stores where i'm heading this weekend. I want more summer color here. Everything seems to bloom early on this homestead.
Now we are really starting to pull away from eachother fast (climate-wise!): We both shared snow but now I still can't plant anything tender here till mid May: risk of night frost remains. But the garden is becoming a bit more tempting as it slowly warms up.

violetmed thank you for this post. I am a Northerner and we had snowfall a couple of days ago. This is not the usual, it was a long winter. Now don't get me wrong I love my winter, lots and lots of skating on the river this year! But I am now ready for some colourful spring flowers and hopefully soon some April showers.
