The above is the chorus for a song called "Daisy Bell". It was written in 1892 by British songwriter Harry Dacre.
I’m not sure who sang it to me or how I learned it, but when I was around the ages of 8-16 my family had a bicycle built for two.
I loved to sing it or hum it when I rode on it.
I’m thinking it might have been my maternal grandmother who sang it or played it on the piano.
At one point, my brother had a newspaper route and I rode that bicycle built for two with him when he delivered his papers.
Ah fond memories...
These daisies are blooming in one of my flower gardens!

Oh yes and prominently featured in the iconic 2001 A Space Odyssey as they are "killing" the HAL 9000 computer by removing his memory, he recites the song. Classic
