Blackfoot Daisies

in #nature5 years ago (edited)

I just planted 3 of these Blackfoot Daisy plants yesterday
They can grow to a height of 2 feet tall and wide.
They will return year after year- perennials.

They will attract butterflies to my yard and serve as a great nectar source.
They are supposed to be drought tolerant and can take the heat!

This is the first time I was able to buy some because I went to a native plant sale.

Howdy violetmed! what wonderful flowers, I wonder why they're called Blackfoot?
Hey I thought of you the other day when I saw on the news that the Arboreum has bronze statues of children playing, have you seen those yet? I think they said there was 24 of them and they really looked wonderful.

I’ll be going to see them in May! I didn’t find any information about why they named them that!

Howdy violetmed! oh wonderful, you'll do a beautiful post about them I'm assuming! lol.

Gorgeous daisies, now they will delight you every year

Yes, I’m looking forward to that!!

How beautiful, I wish you a wonderful day full of blessings🌼💕

They are beautiful, and with the butterflies they will attract, it will be like having twice the flowers. Lovely to think on:)

It’s great planting flowers that will come up every year and the added bonus of helping the butterflies. The daises look pretty

So beautiful!!!
