Extra-Curation #9: Life Story of Tai Lopez and Lessons to Learn + Σ Personality + Why Japan is So Healthy
I was going to share some YouTube videos yesterday and it end up being something else. So I'm going to attempt the same thing today starting with Tai Lopez who originally gave the impression of a con/hype artist and I did write a little bit on this in my post about Aldous Huxley+Tai Lopez+Frank Lloyd Wright Now this one is his life story:
I still think he is marketing to the lowest common denominator in his most popular work and he is creating a lot of motivated and inspired loosers. But there is a lot of wisdom he has picked up over the years. A good lot of my readers might actually consider these advises/tips as obvious stuff. That's because you are ahead the curve. I mean you are using one of the most underrated Crypto projects on Earth. Compare these advises with what you normally here from people around and what you are presented as conventional wisdom. Then you'll see the value.
See what he did with that last video. Those are the things that make him look like a co artist. There is a thing called over-selling/over-marketing. Doing things like this is an insult to the content like a great movie with a bad trailer. So learn from him not to do those things.
Sigma Personality
I haven't paid much attention to the Alpha - Beta talk which came across to me like a bunch of reductive and over-generalized ramblings and and I also heard about this Omegas and from the little I've heard, the Omega seems to be seriously odd looking ones (Marilyn Manson) or some real jerks who doesn't care about anybody. Nothing impressive to look there. As the time went by I came across the concept of the Σ and then it seemed like these naming systems has some merits.
I think a large portion of my followers here are likely to be Σ. I think a significant portion of Libertarians/Anarcho-Capitalists will fit the description.
Environment and Social Structures Goes A Long Way - Case Study on Japan
You can always persevere against all sorts of odds. But different individuals have different different thresholds. Some would simply give up easily. That's where a good social structure, culture and habits come into play. It's easier to swim with the tide and when the tide is at the right direction, more people will do the right thing.
Even those who would have done the right thing to begin with will have to spend less energy to go against the tide and they will be able to spend their extra energy on other tasks in life. An artist who doesn't have to worry about funding can focus on the craft. When healthy options are more available, one can simply use take more time to relax or learn something or create something.
