Day dreaming in Finland.
The tradition of celebrating the Day of sleep ( Fin . Unikeonpäivä), which is celebrated annually in Finland on July 27 came to the country in the Middle Ages , together with descriptions of seven Christians who slept for almost 200 years in a cave to escape the wrath of the Roman emperor . According to local legend, the same fate befall any who would sleep on this day longer than usual. Despite a rather sad tradition , the festival turned into an original event .
