WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF DISCIPLINE?
Discipline can be defined as the training of people to obey rules, ethics and code of conduct. It is a process in which people comply to the rules and regulation of a place. Also it involves training people to be accountable and responsible. Having grown up to this point when I hear of the word discipline it comes with punishment. When my father tells my younger ones I will discipline you,then you know punishment comes in and that makes discipline complete.
DO YOU THINK IT'S ESSENTIAL TO MAINTAIN DISCIPLINE IN OUR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LIVES?
Yes, discipline is very essential in a personal and professional lives. I will take myself as a case study. Being taught by my parents to be accountable and responsible help me to achieve my goals this happens when I was a boarder, not staying with your parents you ought to do what other kids were doing but because of the discipline and training I got I was able to achieve my goals without doing eye service. I was able to know my purpose and that made me realize my goal and achieve it.
Being disciplined helped me to gain trust and respect from my colleagues and teachers as well and above all my parents had trust in me while still in school. Discipline helped me to be accountable and responsible in any task I am given to do. A discipline person will always think twice before acting and taking decisions so as not to have a bad effect. In life it is not always all the time that our decision will favour us so if that happens we must be ready to be accountable for our mistakes and not putting the blame on others.

HOW DOES DISCIPLINE HELP US TO DEVELOP? DESCRIBE.
It is often said by their faces you shall know. A person who is disciplined will have a good personal growth, that is continuously learning, improving and adapting to change. A person who is disciplined develops integrity honesty and reliability in everything he does. Unlike the person who does not have discipline reverse will be the case.

A discipline person gains trust and respect, trust is very important in our todays world and many people have lost that characteristics because of inability to comport theirselves and maintain a good reputation in the society, just as your parent thought you this I believe you will pass this onto your generation looking onto you as an example.
