Stitch Fix

I was pulled from a pretty elaborate dream this morning but still rose in good spirits.

My main goal was to begin the day in a relaxed manor. Lately, I’ve been running left and right because of scheduled appointments. Not today! I had three things at the top of my to-do list.

1.) Wash my hair.
2.) Do something about my eyebrows.
3.) Write a blog post before I get swept up in video games.

@kommienezuspadt asked if I wanted to accompany him to the auto shop, since our car still needs to get an estimate for repairs. I declined with a pout because like I said before, I wanted to begin the day feeling relaxed not rushed. After his appointment he stopped by an electronics store to pick up new speakers for the house and we agreed that now would be the best time to list our old ones online.

If we’re going to be listing items for sale then....I might as well list some of our furniture. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve been meaning to list our charming mustard colored recliner online but @guthrie’s rediscovered his love for it and has turned it into a little fort many times. I purchased a writing desk a few weeks back and this needs to go before I move it in. The only problem I ran across was tidying the area up for photos, finding a tape measure to list the full lengths of the chair and then sewing the torn leather together on the footrest.

_{Most days, I couldn’t be bothered to work on this footrest but since the program I use for drawing is still downloading.....
I have no other excuses.}

_{This footrest wasn’t as torn up when we first got it. @guthrie had a crazy sugar rush one night. He pounced on it and suddenly pulled back, tearing at the seams. Trust me when I tell you that he got an earful that night.}

_{I stitched the length between my pointer finger and my thumb.}

_{Sigh...they’re still a lot left to go.}
