My American Silver Eagle Collection
Good afternoon, Steemians!
Today I'm showing you my 1 ounce American Silver Eagle coins. I only started stacking American Silver Eagles last year, so my collection is still small. For those of you who don't know, the 1 ounce American Silver Eagle is the official silver bullion coin of the United States and it's inception was in 1986.
I have a roll (20) of 2017s.
I have 14 - 2016 coins
And I have a 2015, a few 2011s, a 2003 and a 2002. All in all I have 41 ASEs. Some of the older coins are beginning to tarnish. I like the brand new look, but I also like the tarnished look.
I have the 2017s in one tube and the other 21 in the other tube
Do you have a substantial part of your stack in ASEs? I don't, but I think I will order some 2018s toward the end of this year. I think it would be cool to have a tube of each year going forward.
I love ASE! Most recognized silver coin in the U.S.
Makes me want to check what I have, I never take them out of the box they came in. Now I want to look and touch. Thanks for the post.

Voted for you with 100% buddy!
Sweet! Let's do this for tiltcove! U know you'll get big upvotes my friend 👍
Lol
Great start to a great collection v-stack! ASE's simply cannot be argued against. They have a beautiful design and they're big badass platters!
Gorgeous! I have only 20 (random year) but may have to copy a page from your playbook :)
:) here's to stacking a tube each year my friend!
meep
meep is fuckin' right buddy

Silver can make drool! 😂
I love me some silver eagles. unopened and untouched is how I like to keep mine.... well all but one tube;)
Don't you just want to lay them out and behold the beauty? I couldn't not open them lol
oh ya but then I would have a huge mess, lol I had to open at least one ha ha ha
I think Eagles should be the foundation of every American's stack just because Eagles are most liquid when selling in the US.
That's what I found out too late! I think I might trade some of my silver for Eagles in the future or just buy more Eagles from here on out. :D
I do the same with a tube of Maple Leafs in Canada, since I'm not really too far from the Border and my US relatives are convinced I'm crazy I get some ASE coins for their sake. They can thank me later.
Hi Kerris. I didn't know you have a Steemit account
Sorry Swag, I have to wean off of Fakebook and just too many platforms to keep track off. I'm just slow at this.
Nice pile of Eagles! I've been collecting them slowly over the years, but it's always nice to lay them all out just to admire the full stack. It really makes you feel good about your efforts.
Agreed!
Nice stack! ASEs make up the majority of my stack and I think they're an excellent coin. I have a few that just look tarnished but I also have a couple that have purpleish-blue "toning". I have seen some that are toned with a rainbow hue and those are really cool.
Oh wow I haven't seen that! That is neat! Good on you for stacking!
I have quite a few myself and like the older ASEs that have begun to tarnish a little. Stack on!
