Vincent is in Binic, Part 3/3, by @vincentleroy (translated from French)

in #story6 years ago (edited)

This is an authorized translation in English of a post in French by Vincent Le Roy (@vincentleroy): Vincent est à Binic (épisode 3/3)

As my primary language is not English, there are probably some mistakes in my translation.

Remember that the person who speaks here is NOT me, Vincent Celier (@vcelier), but Vincent Le Roy (@vincentleroy), a French guy.

Vincent came to spend the weekend in Binic, from the network to Steemit to real life
Part 3

8:45, everyone is ready. we leave my car near the pontoon in Binic and with Vincent we reach Saint-Quay. 9:30 am, the boat is already in the channel. The wind is still calm. The weather report did not tell us that ... In short, we are not in a hurry, when suddenly a dolphin fin appears ...

The first dolphin comes along the bow. A few meters further, a second one jumps. But I do not have the camera on, luck for me the third offers me the moment that I waited and with a beautiful jump. Clearly, they are not there to have fun with a 6 meter sailboat, they hunt out of the port.

And as the wind rises, heading for the Rosaires beach, the boat goes well. Very well even. And so our anecdotes continue. Given the winds, a tack up to the mussel pens, then direction Binic. I'm on duty for the SNSM, not supposed to be on the water so as the wind is getting worse, we decide to go back as soon as Binic's doors open.

At the VHF, we are warned, there are people going out and we know, they have priority! With a nice surprise, the Rigel, mackerel fishing boat, emblem of the city of Binic, is out. Philippe approaches and with Vincent we shoot pictures from every angle. Then return to the channel and the pontoon. Car, a tea at Lulu's, and we go to St Quay to pick up Vincent's car. As soon as we are back at my house, Vincent packs. He's leaving for Brest this afternoon. and we decide to go eat at the Wafu (a kind of Asian buffet). An excellent lunch that Vincent offers us! A kiss and we are saying goodbye.

With these beautiful moments in mind and waiting for the next ones because it's sure, Vincent will come back!
