The things that pass...
My first little exhibition in my local skate shop. For me photography is strongly linked to skateboarding; I have read Thrasher magazine for about 12 years (RIP Jake Phelps) and I loved all the photos: the sequences, the lifestyle shots, the drunken snapshots, etc. It is an era that is over; the paper skate magazine is as good as dead. I also have the first copy of "Bail" a skateboard "culture" magazine by the guys from Girl skateboards.

Rollin skate shop
Never liked the guy who ran it. Too much "hello fellow kids" and keen to get that upscale Supreme® crowd, but failing miserably by losing connection with the actual cool kids. The expanded to Amsterdam, got a new location in Alkmaar and suddenly went bankrupt. The guy want a shop with out the crusty skate rats hanging out and he got a sterile, uninviting shop. Life sucks and then you die, I guess.
I'm probably quitting skateboarding; it ruined my left knee, messed up my ankles and I get worse at it every year...
More time for photography I guess!
