The Diary Game: 10/9/2020: My Day Out for Medical Check-up

Dear diary,
Thursdays are usually my antenatal day. For today, I just had to relax and eat my breakfast before going.

Ready to step out this morning

I did a little video and took pictures for my baby shower. Hubby took the pictures, he’s very strong today. I’ll show you guys the picture.

I took commercial motorcycle to the hospital and got there by 10:15 a.m. When I got there, I met few pregnant women, so I waited for my turn. Because of my outfit today, people were just admiring me.

The nurses said that I’m doing shakara now, that very soon it will me tears. I told them my delivery won’t be painful. Even the woman that I bought bean cake from gave me extra because of my outfit and asked for permission to come take care of me when I give birth.

I was directed to labor ward for proper check-up by the matron. She said my cervix is open and I will deliver any moment from now. One woman got me scared by saying that as I was going to labor ward that labor will start. It did not.

I was asked to come back immediately I see any of the two signs: water coming or blood coming out. I met a woman who gave birth to a baby girl in the hospital last night. She was not looking strong at all, but she and the baby are fine.

One of the pregnant women said my stomach is too small to be up to delivery. I told her I had flat tummy before I got married.

The matron said I should go for another scan this week. So, with that information, I left, took bike back home.

When I got home, I told hubby everything and he said I will do the scan by weekend. I asked my brother to help me untie my shoe lace because I can’t bend.

Immediately I got released from those shoes I went to sleep for a while. I already took bean cake at the hospital, so I did not feel hungry when I got home.
