WAR is near in Venezuela, be aware...
We have many folks from Venezuela here at Steem! If you ask them, they are already at war, but the international community does not realize it yet that it may be necessary to depose Maduro to give the Venezuelan people relief from their oppression. If Maduro remains in power, he will follow the path that all dictators do, beat down the people until they submit to his will.
The point of no return has been passed, IMO. Please be aware that our friends in Venezuela need help more than ever before. @youarehope is one great way to provide assistance, I am sure there are others. YAH has boots on the ground already, I know that @malos10 has provided guidance so they can target worthy causes.
Like I said above, ask the Venezuelan people, and they will tell you

I pray that they can resolve the political situation without it becoming a hot proxy war between the Russians and US
It's not an easy situation of course, but they need to study history. The USA has a long and sorid history of putting in dictators and governments that ruined many nations and put the people there into unpayable debt. Sure, Maduro and forced collectivism are failures, but just try to not replace one tyranny with another.
That does become the challenge, and even a "new republic" would be difficult to get going strong... What Venezuela needs at this point is a reworking of it's refinery capacity, Chavez did not update anything, but it was maintained a lot better than Maduro has done. It is now in a shambles from what I hear. This is info from those in country.
