Who remembers that song from HEE-HAW? Who even remembers HEE-HAW? :D If it was not for the girls running around in the Daisy Duke shorts and halter tops, I'd have never watched because I did not like country music as a kid. Enough about Hee-Haw, this is about FUD!
With this slump I think STEEM is doing just fine. IMO the whole community seems to be handling it Quite Well! The only real complaints I have heard are from those using SBD outside of Steemit, well, I have one friend crying about his 'payouts suck' but he's such a NEWB!!! :P It will be OK, guy, really ;) I really still believe this will be a BANNER YEAR for STEEM, Steemit and Cryptos in general. CRIMEX BE DAMNED, but even that stupid Futures Market did not forsee this LMFAO!!!
I know we have the 13 week power-downs, but I have not even really thought about it. This too shall pass, and whoever takes money out of the system now will regret it later! ;) Our FUNDAMENTALS are STRONG, even if the Technicals SUCK. Stick that in yer Pipe and Smoke it, Hay-Gin ;)

True that. Steem will do fine. These numbers are shaky water bumps after bubble. For a month, it will be pretty much stable. :)

I was just thinking the same thing @underground. That it's nice to sit back and watch all the stock market traders grabbing their asses and repeating over and over that there is no need to overreact...the economy is just fine 😂
If Steem is down, I can relax and know that I'm here for the long haul. And I enjoy it.
If I get too bored, I play with my silver or gold, or add a little more.
HeeHaw was great, unfortunately I was a little too young to fully appreciate what I was seeing at the time..haha. I was there for the jokes and music.
Yes the jokes were pretty good, the music was good, it helped me appreciate stuff outside my envelope! But even at that, being 'too young'? There is a story about my son, confined to a car seat and a Victoria's Secret catalog his mother could not keep away from him...

That's pretty much what I did, in the last 9 months. Stacked a lot at an average price just under 90¢ and then grabbed a bunch more after the big BTC to $20K run-up, sold all that and bought Steem before it went nuts. I bought Steem just over $1 and then it hit $8 I went from hovering under $3,000 USD to $30,000 with the purchases and the price increases. I have prolly $4k invested in my 5,252 SP ;)
OK, I'm bragging a little, but there is a point to all of this. Buying NOW around $4 and you will be really Really HAPPY once it goes over $10 and in fact, many think that $100 Steem, THIS YEAR is very do-able. I am one of these :D
Same here, i have a $80 budget a month from actual work that goes towards purchases of coin. Going to try and get steem for under $4 and just build it up. Wish i had $4K to drop and make my vote worth something to someone....

I think we're in a pretty good spot :) I've actually seen a lot of people on here freaking out; I don't know if that says something about the corners of the site where I end up but, overall I've found it pretty funny!
It is just a glitch in the matrix. It will level out and I too think this will be a great year.
