There was not a glaringly obvious "We (nfl) want Philly to Win" call at the end, but they did CONFIRM 2 Eagle's TD's when Chris Collinsworth thought they would BOTH be called back. Plus, the Pats did not get any cheap calls at the end to give them a better chance to tie the game and go to OT. I say I pretty much nailed it except it was a whole TD and a 2pt conversion. PROPS to Philly for doing it with a Back-up QB! WOW! That never happens these days...

The officiating was surprisingly good, but it was still a nail biter at the end. How many quarterbacks can take 57 seconds and get off what 7 or 8 plays?
Good for the Eagles finally bringing home the Lombardi Trophy.
Seemed pretty good, but Pats usually get more calls than that and the stupid "catch rule" leaves them too much ambiguity. Collinsworth thought both of those Philly TD's would be called back and I was amazed that neither one was. Too Much Wiggle room for the officials, to "affect" an outcome, but I am glad it appeared to be on the up-N-up!
We can only hope they get rid of the catch rule. As a Steelers fan I can't even begin to express how pissed off I still am about the Jesse James TD being called back. I was holding my breath on the Ertz TD tonight, even though the replayed showed it was so obviously a catch and he had become a runner before breaking the plane.
