US Amazon Prime Summer Selections 2019

I have just spent my last hours compiling a list and creating a YouTube video presenting the best movies on Amazon Prime for the summer of 2019. It isn't easy to compile such lists, and I do know that a lot of my readers have different taste, making it even harder.

In fact, while some enjoy the traditional Hollywood movies with a happy ending and all the characteristics we love and know, other people want to watch more serious movies, with different ways of telling stories and so on. For that reason, I included the movie The Private War in this compilation, and also I Can Only Imagine. The first of these tells the story of a photographer who has traveled into war areas and seen more than stuff than we could possibly imagine, and also risking her own life in order to tell the stories she has seen. I Can Only Imagine tells the story behind the hit-song, one that for sure will touch your heart!

But, I cannot create such a list without including some typical Hollywood summer movies either. And what is summer all about (for many)? It is about swimming, going to the beach, and maybe meeting some beautiful girl or boy. So, if you want to get into that summer atmosphere, you better watch the Baywatch movie from 2017. It might be lousy, but it is packed with jokes, swimsuits, some action, and more beautiful seaside shots.

Are you dreaming of falling in love? Then Time Freak might suit you (this is almost like a new version of About Time)! Would you like to spicy of the falling in love experience with some action and a missing girl, stream Under the Silver Lake on Amazon Prime.
