Converting SBD to Steem right feels like a miracle in action!
When I just converted my SBD to Steem, I suddenly thought of when Jesus took some fish and some bread and turned it into enough food for a multitude of people. I am not exactly sure why this comparison comes to my mind... but I guess that is the feeling I got as I converted my 1 SBD to Steem right now. It just feels like a miracle. I have 1 SBD, and as I convert it to Steem and power it up on the market, I receive 19 Steem tokens! That is just totally crazy. I wish I had more SBD! :)
Here you can see the transactions from the Steemit Wallet. Isn't that just crazy? This is the ultimate chance to build Steem Power for those with some SBD in their wallet. If you have, make sure to convert it to Steem as quickly as possible, this is a fantastic chance to increase your Steem Power!
Steem has done well in the red market!
I should also say that Steem has done great in the red market. Even though the market has been going down a lot, Steem has actually had fun and been like a real rollercoaster. Yesterday, when both Bitcoin and Ethereum went down, Steem decided to go the other way and visit $1. Then it bumped a bit and touched $0.6 before it returned to $0.8, and now it is somewhere between $0.7 and $0.8.
No matter what... we are here on this awesome platform, and we are in it for the long run, so price movements up and down don't really alter the direction we are going! It just makes the road all the funnier and merrier!
But, don't forget to take advantage of the miracle of the day!
If you have some SBD tokens from rewards or elsewhere, make sure to convert them to Steem and grow your account and your Steem Power!

I think it's high time I start splitting my post payout to 50:50 to attain more SBD and concert to steem.

I had 100% power up for a long time, after all, I want to grow on the platform. But, then I noticed that I do way better if I run with 50/50 and then convert all my SBD to Steem all the time. That is a great plan :)

I continuously convert my SBD to Steem... so sometimes 1 SBD is 5 Steem, then the next day 7, then 9, then 6, and then it suddenly was 19. No matter what, I power up and build on the platform! :)
I understand you friend, because I have the same feeling, I search and search and do not get SBD, I have checked under the pillow to change by steem but I have no SBD, it is a golden opportunity to change this time all our SBD by steem.

It was a blow for me. I never believe SBD can rise high like this in the future
Neither did I, but it did... and luckily I had a few SBD tokens. It has a habit of pumping a bit now and then, so maybe I should just keep my SBD and wait for a pump? But who knows, the original value should be $1 and we are far above that, so based on that, I just keep changing them to Steem all the time... in case it should fall in value again!

I normally just use the inner market on Steemit to convert my SBD to Steem. If you go to your wallet and choose SBD, then you will see market. There you can easily put up a sell order and buy Steem for your SBD! :)

Thanks, that's what I have done too but just wondered if a better/different tool.
Well, I have been doing some SBD trading on Bittrex, but normally it is just easier to do it directly on the Steemit marketplace. Not such a big difference! :)
