Love a Cliffwalk
Sitting and thinking, and missing the coast of Maine and the sound of the waves as they crash against the huge rocks that sprout from the water.
It is said if you stretch out the coast of Maine it will reach all the way to Florida.
The York Cliffs, Marginal Way In Ogunquit, Prouts Neck , Bailey's Island, Peak's Island, Mackworth Island, Portland Head light and the lighthouses and fortresses; there is nothing quite like a cliffwalk in Maine.
Some are all rocks, others are grassy or surrounded by woods, some are full of tourists and near shops and restaurants; others you can have all to yourself.
All are beautiful at any time of day. The dawn, the sunsets, the foggy days that shroud the sea in mystery.
Lazy sad post cause I am lazy and sad; I might post about some of these places later later...or maybe you can guess? All photos are mine.
