It's not ideal, for sure, but I'm trying to be less judgemental about such things as I better understand the mechanisms in the human brain which lead to that behavior (and work to justify it). We all have the same flaws and given the right circumstances (upbringing, DNA, etc), we could all be disgusting.
I guess it's my coping mechanism to see it as funny when the human brain rationalizes what I would consider irrational, inconsistent, or hypocritical behavior.
Except when things aren't working right, then it's valid. It takes an event to demonstrate it, or repeated events. I never had issues with other people getting rewards. I'm against "picking" pseudo-betting getting the rewards, and their are valid justifications for it, not that I'm saying you are saying there aren't.
Yeah, we have to point out "problems" if we're every going to have "solutions." I love it when people can do it accurately and effectively without letting their own emotional interests cloud things up too much. It's even better when those involved graciously accept the criticism and become better for it.
