It all adds up... This is a great concept to understand.

I was talking to someone about the Steem blockchain earlier today and we were discussing the issue of a drop in user activity recently.

It can be attributed to the bear market for crypto.

As this bear market has gone deeper and deeper, we see the STEEM price following the rest of the market.

It truly shows the irrationality of crypto. No matter what fundamentals are in play, we are still beholden to the dark turns that occur in the market as a whole.

I hope that this doesn't remain true forever!

The Steem blockchain continues to see more and more innovation and great work and the price action just doesn't line up.

Anyways, the idea of less people posting is an easy one to grasp in these situations... It's because with a lower STEEM price comes a lower payout on your posts in terms of fiat money...

Many people just don't see the same appeal of going after a few cents or a few dollars worth of upvotes.

It's nothing like earlier this year when your average trending post was well over $800-1,000.

I remain vigilant. I know that this blockchain continues to grow stronger every day, regardless of the price. For now, we must focus on increasing our stake!
