Voting for Witnesses (Problem Solved) + A Few Programs to Increase the Votes You Receive

I've been posting for a few months and it was only recently that I've decided to investigate on the Witness aspect of the Steem Network.

After casting a few votes, I had a problem and couldn't cast others.

These were the users I was trying to vote for as Witnesses:

A) @minnowsupport

This is an excellent program for everyone who's starting to take Steem seriously. If your posts maintain a certain level of quality, you can join their program through their Discord channel. Every 30 hours, you can ask for a vote to one of your posts. (Or give it to a friend.)

The registration is free and at the moment, that vote is around $0.07.

Please beware that single photo posts with little text will be considered to be low quality posts and you'll be removed from the program.

B) @earthnation

Was one of the main developers of the program Steem Basic Income (@steembasicincome), an excellent program to give upvotes for life to anyone who enters it.

Putting it simply, you can buy upvotes for life by sending 1 STEEM to @steembasicincome and mentioning on the "memo" an user you'd like to see receiving the same votes.

Each 1 STEEM allows you to sponsor a fellow Steemian. The more STEEM you send to @steembasicincome, the higher the votes you'll be receiving.

There's a guideline to keep in mind, though. If you abuse the system by copying content from others (and stuff like that) you will stop receiving votes.

If you don't know it yet, you should really look into it.

C) @costanza

Creator of the Project UpvoteShares / MinnowShares

This project is like Steem Basic Income on steroids.

There are two sides of this:

1) UpvoteShares which can be bought during certain periods and will give you upvotes for life, as long as you maintain a certain level of quality in your posts. (Check out @upvoteshares to know what's happening.)

@upvoteshares shares are over 3x more expensive than Steem Basic Income shares, but in compensation, you don't lose your STEEM. About 90% of the STEEM you send to the program can be recovered, if you feel like getting out of the program at any time.

Each @upvoteshares share you get comes with a bonus share in the @minnowshares program. But this won't be for you. Just like in Steem Basic Income, you'll choose who to offer these shares to.

2) @minnowshares doesn't give votes for life, though. This will last for a while... and then the votes associated to each MinnowShare will end... However, 6 inactive MinnowShares can be traded for an UpvoteShare!

Please take in consideration that the quality requirements are even higher than on the previous mentioned programs. Your Profile will be reviewed and if you don't met the minimum requirements, you won't be able to join @upvoteshares.

D) @steemchiller

He's the creator of SteemWorld, the best tool available to manage your Steem Account.

You can check your Voting Power, a million other different statistics, like your Account Balances... it lets you Power Up, Vote for Witnesses... and a lot more.

Now, the reason I couldn't vote for these users as Witnesses is rather simple:

• They aren't Witnesses. Doh! (I can't believe the amount of time I wasted on this until @timcliff pointed it out.)
