A Photo Exemplifying the Diversity of Architectural Styles of Vienna
This photo is a good example of the various types of architecture that you get to appreciate in Vienna. As you can see, there are modern buildings next to old buildings and even some old buildings repainted to fit the old style of the city.
The building on the right was painted very recently and I find it really good that they decided to simply renovate it, instead of wiping out the existing architectural features that were decaying away.
The middle building also seems to have gone through a partial renovation, judging by the different tones visible on the wall and windows.
Could it be that they didn't have the money for a full renovation, like their next door neighbours did?
I enjoyed a lot walking in this city, there's so much to see that I would have gladly stayed more time in this large and vibrant city.
