Why do we need more transparency?
Yes, transparency Bot is presenting information that IS available on the blockchain, but NOT otherwise available on Steemit.
Transparency allows all of us who care about this platform to know what is going on, directly see how it affects us, become more educated as to what can be done and then; hopefully, act in a way that protects our platform for years to come.
As of 4/18/18, @transparencybot will begin upvoting random posts that use the #nobidbot tag and have not used bidbots on the post.
The number of random votes it does a day depends on its remaining voting power. Later on, a filter to select only authors with reputation's of perhaps 60 (or 50) and below may be incorporated, but for now it is wide open.
This is a non-profit initiative, all funds received by or delegated to it will be used directly for this mission only. No one, including myself is being paid for any service or product. Please consider supporting it by upvoting this post and/or the comments left by @transparencybot.

My campaign started with this article dated 2/6/18 and continued forward with multiple articles that used bidbots and futher exposed how bidbots could be used to bring ANY article, both of high quality and low, onto the trending list.
It reads:
No really, this is a post on nothing of use, not anything in particular and certainly nothing worth upvoting.
But it may well serve to be very useful tool in demonstrating some of the techniques used by many Steemian's, whales and minnows alike to grab a few (or a lot) of votes for rather marginal or useless articles.
If you have ever wondered why some articles you read and some authors you run across have SO many upvotes and so many followers, well stay tuned --- I'll be exposing some of these techniques is the days ahead.

@Transparencybot is a continuation of the campaign by many to bring quality back to the trending list.
@transparencybot gets delegation from steemians under false pretenses that it up votes posts that do not use bidbots and have quality content yet it up votes it's comments and @bycoleman 's other accounts. @bycoleman also built his account up and reputation utilizing bidbots just a few months ago and now is a hypocrite and ridicules others with spam posts for doing what he did. This platform is already transparent, this bot is spam! Look @ your delegation at work upvoting these replies everyday...

Transparency Bothas only 203 Steempower, wow, that doesnt meet our community requirements for a Bot posting this many unwanted messages ... please consider buying some more steempowr before you Post on this many Steemit Posts. I feel like you owe it to steem to be polite and buy some SP before you post on like EVERY post just becaus ethey bought some votes :( It would helpyour image to buy a few thousand SP, most of the large Bots actually have a LOT more SP tens of thousands like STeemcleaners or cheetah etc etc please consider buying that much before continuing! many whales are upset i have heard but I geuss you can do whatr you want man i enjoy most bots and i do liek your bot does show KNOWn bid bots but there s black marketu dont know about and cnat report so ur really just reporting half triths that make psome peopel look really good when ur make others look bad by default but u NEVER report on epopel who DONT use the bots etc, alkso sometiems ive gotten FREE booster upvpotes just because the owner liked my post and i didnt pay and u reported it as apaid upvote andf it kind of maxe me a little mad u basicaly had ur bot lying about my post... i shouldnt have to ask u to remove the comment either oh well its just annoying u should buy some major SP befroe u continue doing this spam
Agreed but i think he should tell the truth how he uses others sp to self upvote & stop spamming the platform is already transparent and he can post all the reports he wants.
