Comments:

I am expecting an increase in the number of posts made each day starting 4/18/18 as @transparencybot has begun commenting on all posts, which now includes those with reputations above 70.

All in all, transparencybot is being seen as a constructive and useful display of information for all those interested to analyze.

Why do we need more transparency?

Yes, transparency Bot is presenting information that IS available on the blockchain, but NOT otherwise available on Steemit.

Transparency allows all of us who care about this platform to know what is going on, directly see how it affects us, become more educated as to what can be done and then; hopefully, act in a way that protects our platform for years to come.

As of 4/18/18, @transparencybot will begin upvoting random posts that use the #nobidbot tag and have not used bidbots on the post.
The number of random votes it does a day depends on its remaining voting power. Later on, a filter to select only authors with reputation's of perhaps 60 (or 50) and below may be incorporated, but for now it is wide open.

This is a non-profit initiative, all funds received by or delegated to it will be used directly for this mission only. No one, including myself is being paid for any service or product. Please consider supporting it by upvoting this post and/or the comments left by @transparencybot.

A VERY huge thank you to our delegators!

Everybody knows I have used bidbots in the past, I have stated this clearly on several occasions. In-fact, I have instructed others on how to use them.

I lease SP from an individual not MN, build team is simply the intermediary, and they do a very fine job with this.

Yes, I have several accounts that I believe are assets to the platform, which i support directly and indirectly to ensure they are able to perform as they are intended. @Tranparencybot is non-profit, these votes will not return back to me.

I do hope to profit from my other services, it takes a great deal of time and resources to create and maintain these and each of them I believe are assets to the community. Each person is free to judge accordingly.

Is your intent with the remarks below, transparency or to discredit the messenger?

I believe most people can see our motives pretty clearly.

The developer of @transparencybot, @bycoleman has purchased delegated SP from Minnowbooster and up-voted his other accounts over the last 7 days @introbot 47% of the time, @botreporter 25% of the time, transparency bot 25% of the time and himself 2.9% of the time.

Producing multiple accounts and up-voting that account can be seen as taking advantage of the rewards pool. One person with multiple accounts may be looked into and addressed if/when illicit activity is noticed.

This information is being presented in the interest of transparency on our platform @bycoleman and is by no means a judgement of your work.

In addition @bycoleman has used the following bidbots in a previous post:

buildawhale for 69.63, $278.52 USD
upmyvote for 25.36, $101.44 USD
minnowbooster for 22.23, $88.92 USD
boomerang for 18.07, $72.28 USD
smartsteem for 12.21, $48.84

Dollar amounts have been taken from the current Steem price.

I love hypocrites. I really love his spam too. He delegates to his multiple bots. If he continues, ill show him what spam looks like. Maybe even make all his accounts worthless soon. :)

I've seen berniesanders was not too thrilled at this bots posting last week and down voted like 15 of them in a row. So with an effort with all of those opposed, this one may not last too long. It is spam for sure, un-needed block chain space on Steemit.

Yea with the issues all the nodes are having right now, spam is one of the main causes in my estimation. Not only the spam but the people who are running extreme amount of spam and scripts. The only thing I agree with though, is that the Trending page has become trash with people using hundreds of dollars in bot upvotes and also haejin's spam. But this wont fix that.

I 100% agree with the trending and hot pages here, but some people will always want to take advantage of a system when they can.

I suggested that bycoleman address the haejin issue along with people creating multiple accounts, up-voting them and sending the Steem to an exchange. (There is one person with a few hundred thousand SP doing this). No reply as usual, bycoleman typically does not reply if your against his system.

Now that someone actually looked into his 'activities'. His new post is like, "I'm going to hand this over to another account". Probably owns it too. He even tagged these huge accounts saying he wants to hand the keys to.

This guy should be reported to @steemcleaners for spamming our comments section.

Don't need this spam because If anyone wants to look into it, busy.org is pretty detailed in showing the amount of each votes.

Should our platform need @transparencybot !??? Time will tell. I just have a story:
Assuming that there are 100 business owners on our platform, they have been working really hard and paid a lot of money to advertise their products and trying to make it profitable.
And there is a guy who just set a sign on front of every company’s door and telling every customer that how much money that the owner has paid to promote their products.
Assuming that @bycoleman is one of the business owner and he and other owners has their own g*n in pockets. ;)
Another thing that @transparencybot never read about what kind of the product content and purposes…
We cannot hide anything here; everything is on busy.org and blockchain.
Let the customers tell us weither the products good or not because the customers CAN read but @transparencybot
