Hmmm, maybe I'm destined to homeschool our (possible, eventual) grandkids... LOL
Amazing thing - when hubby got home tonight, he said he also saw a hawk - it flew from the side of the road as he was driving, and stayed alongside for a few seconds before heading back into the woods. Guess we'll be running the York Homeschool Academy together!

That will keep the rodent population under control.. I love birds of prey the best. Kinda like cats, natural born killers

There is definitely the possibility that, at one time or another, I hollered at our local hawks, "Could you please leave the Mourning Doves alone and do something about all the chipmunks?" Corvids, raptors, and felines... these are a few of my favorite things. 😊
You must live in a bird sanctuary!

He must have smelled a mouse! Breakfast or glamour shot... he chose breakfast!

I adore hawks. To me they look so majestic and grand. I have one that lives in the woods behind my house. The only draw back is if he is around the other birds tend to scatter. Except the crows, no one messes with crows!
Same. And exactly - I can't even tell you how many times "my" crows have chased the hawks out of our yard! 😊
