A Visit to Thailand... Just Kidding it is just Isdaan here in Calauan Laguna

Hey folks awesome evening! Today is such a hectic day for me and @ellebravo we went out on a date yey!

Finally we are able to visit this place called Isdaan here in Laguna. The place is a Thailand themed restaurant but it serves Filipino food.

To start wit how to get there?
If you are from Manila you will need to ride a bus that has a sign Sta. Cruz the price hmmm I dont know actually because I came all the way from Biñan Laguna hence my fare will be different.

But nonetheless you will not be lost because you will be able to notice the place.

1. It is in the highway and if you are seated in the right aisle of the bus you will definitely see it.

2. There's no signage that the place is near but you have this big mermaid and fish waiting for you

Hmmm you look familiar have we met before??

I left our home at around 7:30ish I guess and arrived at around 10 nearing 11 now you can see here the face of @ellebravo's thinking on why I am late.

Of course this is not how she looked, because I was the one who took this picture but yeah. I told her that I will be late because it is really traffic. She understoods it 💕😍

If you think you can just go there immediately and take pictures. No that is not the case 😥 on the entrance you will be asked immediate on how many people are you in the groups like the table is for how many people.

So after having our table cleaned up we are assisted by the waiter to our table but before that we took some pictures and this is one.

Welcome to Thailand! Just kidding 😂

After sitting, we got our hands to the long menu and scan on which is which that we are going to choose. This is actually the hard part for us because :

1. As per the server the foods served is good for 4 persons ( Okay I have me and @ellebravo so who's the other 2 then? ) Our appetite is not really big. Like we can eat some but gets full immediately. Whenever we eat outside it's always that an automatic thing that we take-out the left foods 😂

2. We are so budget conscious and looking on their menu the price is really hahaha not for us 😂. For the sake of experience!

It's really a cold Saturday here and the wind is blowing really strong so we chose a soup based food. We are eyeing for a chicken dish because she knows that I really love chicken 💕 next to her. But for some reason there is none 😢😩 as per the waiter it might be in the evening.

So we picked the following.

1 Order of bulalo (Plain only)
1 Vegetable Kare-Kare
1 Mini cauldron of rice
2 Melon shake
1 Talagang Special na Bibingka (which has a 1 hour preparation time! WoW😂)

If youbare looking for the Talagang Special na Bibingka it is not yet there because it is still prep 😂

Since we love to eat and go out for the taste of the food I can say that it is decent. Hmmm I tasted some of the foods somewhere and tasted better than the ones being offered but who cares about right? We are there to take some pictures and also remove this Isdaan iN our "Drawing List" ( In Philippines if you say to a person the word "drawing" or even in an event that you are planning to do or accomplish that means that you are really not doing it. You are just planning but no action involved and not planning to take action still. )

Finally the Talagang Special na Bibingka arrived after 30-40 minutes not bad for the time that they gave but I guess that is also their strategu in that way if they will give you the order before the said time it will still be a good thing.

Now it is the moment of truth. TASTE TEST!

For the taste it is just like the regular bibingka sold in our place, the main difference is it has a melting butter on top and the salted egg that was used is a whole salted egg cut and placed into butter. In our place they do cut the salted egg into small pieces but it is just like a toppings on the bibingka so still I would commend it.

The name Talagang Espesyal na Bibingka hmmm since the salted egg is complete there like they used the whole salted egg I would agree with the name 😂😂

While we are eating we were serenaded by the waiters and the band. To our surprise all of them really sings well. They are really good!

After eating some foods we asked the waiter to pack all foods that are not eaten and we will be doing a take out. So we took home some bulalo meat and soup plus some vegetable kare-kare. Final bill for the food it was around 1300 😇

After eating it is now time to stroll! So here are some of the pictures that I took regarding the place together with my beautiful model 💖

We also rode a boat, it has a tag wherein it is a free ride but there's a note to atleast give 20 pesos so thats $0.50.

And lastly I was able to have solo shots from her cellphone and we are really thankful because that phone is a product of her earnings from steemit. Pardon the posing etc. We are really not into this type of thing but we are trying our very best to overcome our fears and being shy 😂

After eating and taking some pictures we decided to rest and record a song. But I might upload it in the next day or so, internet speed issues 😂

We decided to watch a movie too! Since Pitch Perfect 3 has been showing in the movie screen definitely we will watch it and we never regretted the watching it. Fot me it is really good because there's a lot of songs and Fat Amy is really something!

Since taking a picture of the screen is not allowed as per cam cording law. We took a selfie instead before the movie was played courtesy of @ellebravos's phone.

So I think that is all I can share for today. It was really tiring but really enjoyed the moments. As we all know, as long as you are with the person you love even the not so good place will still be a better one.
