Fondeando en el puerto
Fotografía de un antiguo ancla de las denominadas "Hall" utilizada para sujetar un barco al fondo marino.
Este tipo de anclas se emplean en barcos grandes de elevado tonelaje.
Normalmente los barcos portan dos de estas anclas en la parte delantera y una en la parte trasera, sujetas por grandes cadenas de una longitud cinco veces la altura del barco.
El peso de este tipo de anclas oscila desde las tres toneladas hasta las veinte toneladas de barcos petroleros o grandes cruceros.
