The virtuous woman

To a loving family she was begotten
The smiles she brought on their faces can not be forgotten

Growing up was a lot of peer distractions
Through this she made the right decisions

Grandpa trained her through with tough finances
Determined never to give up she faced her challenges

Like a genius, she had straight up A's in school,
That's done with, now it was time for advances

Dad came through, took her on an adventure
They looked further and envisioned a greener pasture

The day was so bright, momma was dressed in white
He thanked the crowd, as he took his bride

Couple of months later she was cumbered with the load
Not too much to carry, it seemed more like a loan

Momma gave birth with joy 'twas a boy
Boy grew knowledgeable, this was not a decoy

Couple other boys came through
Damilola, Yinka, Toyin and I, and we had a lot of toys

Father worked tirelessly day and night to feed us
Little did we know he was going to leave us

Glory shone, Tade found refuge and took cover
Follow my steps and certainly lack will be over

That was the amazing light we received
So we could be relevant and never to be deceived

Story goes on, boys grew daily to become men
Spread round the entire universe, all trying to fend

Momma stayed healthy, courageous and strong
She always told us 'nothing will go wrong'

Finally all went on smoothly
Now we relax and chill on a cup of smoozy

Proud of dadda for he met momma
Thanks to grandpa for training momma

Thanks to momma for been a virtuous woman
Trained us well, now we're picking 'our virtuous women'
