Success control motif
Success is very difficult to manage. Many people went Banana (rotten) due to their success in life. Alexander the Great conquered the world at a tender age, but destroyed himself because he could not manage success.
Hophra (Pharaoh) was described as a successful king who had all it takes to make life comfortable and pleasant. His wealth was multiplied and everything was fine for him. And the problem of success control dealt him a terrible blow, for his heart lifted up!
How many of us today are falling victim to the same snare of this epidemic? Are you intoxicated with your success that no one then deserves your respect? How do you look at your fellow at work, in church, in the family and likes? Is it with scorn and stigma? Because you are successful? Or are you humble in your success?
To achieve success in life is not easy. To manage the success is tougher. In Isaiah 41:31 God provided a help to us. Let us claim this promise, so that our success would be for the purpose which God has provided it for, like helping the needy, our neighbors and our families.
May God help us all to succeed in life and help us to control the success. Amen.
