What I think would be the most practical is twofold:
Anything that's conversation-based, like discussions around features and general ideas should probably happen in here, because it's a great opportunity to just play around the interface and try things out.
Anything that's more technical in nature or practical in terms of the codebase should probably happen in source code management software. In our case it's Gitlab. This way we can avoid repetition and make sure to keep track of every problem more efficiently.
Let me know if you have additional thoughts on this. I'll send you an invite to Gitlab by email. :)
So I just upvoted the original post. Are any of these posts accessible to read from Steemit? Did my upvote actually result in a pool that is distributed in 7 days like a normal Steem post?
@nateaguila: All the topics are comments on a master post. Replies are comments to the topic posts. The permlink of the master post is tokenbb-monsters-topics and the user account of this forum is @tkbb.monsters
So here is the very first version of the SM forum in closed alpha. For the next week, you are welcome try the different features, report bugs and tell us the features that are absolutely necessary before we open it up to the public.
@kareniel: Yup, everybody is used on Steem at this point. I don't know if Steempeak's editor is open-source but it's a good case of using a toolbar to make markdown happen so that everyone is happy.
Now that the forum is live, this is the time to actually get some feedback from you guys. Go ahead and tell us what you would like to see here.
We already have a list of tiny bugs that need to be squashed but maybe you can find some that we've haven't seen yet.
Ha yes, it seemed like something funky was going on but I wasn't sure what it was. Glad you caught it.

So, we've been editing our previous post on each reply. Oops!
This should be fixed now. This reply is also kind of a test for that.
Actually for me it still seems to be editing the previous reply...EDIT: looks like i just needed a refresh
We need Keychain login!
@nateaguila: Yes indeed, but we are wondering if that is a critical feature for opening the alpha to the SteemMonsters community. Let us know!
Welcome!
We thank you for your patience and finally, the first version of the SteemMonsters's forum is online!
This is, of course, only the alpha version and you are welcome to give feedback on your experience in the "Forum Feedbacks" category.
Currently, if you are a moderator, you can:
Everyone can, of course, write a topic, reply and upvote each other. With that being said, we are looking forward to your feedback!

You can find the master post on Steemit here: https://steemit.com/@tkbb.monsters/tokenbb-monsters-topics
Interesting. I’m posting this comment like I would a regular Steem comment to see what happens in the forum.
Posted using Partiko iOS
@nateaguila: Basically, it prevents people from spamming their Steemit feed and therefore post more! Also, same payout as anything else on Steem.
Welcome!

Images and links are not yet enabled but we are working on it (top of the list of features)
Okay clearly everybody is used to markdown. Let's fix that too.

Hi everyone
Test content post.
Bold text
Bold text doesn't appear
Italic text
Underline text
Congrats for the prototype!
A small bug in the editor:
I can't see what I type.
Make the text bold by clicking the "B" button in the editor, and it's gone. :)
It seems it happens on creating a new topic, only.
