Prospectors is an economic game running on the EOS blockchain. Development of the game started on the ethereum blockchain and the developers saw the scaling problem and quickly switched to the EOS blockchain. It is by far one of the most successful games on the blockchain and it is fun to play too. Every player starts with 3 players who can manufacture tools to start work. Tools manufacture with the hand needs resources which can be mined or bought. I started by buying resources and manufacturing tools for my players. I realised it was very much more efficient to rather buy a manufactured tool since manufactured tools have 100hours life span whiles hand made tools have 10hours life span.

In total, i have earned 9 EOS in gold from prospectors since i started. Yes you heard me right. I have been playing prospectors aggressively for a week and 2 days and on the average, i earn 1 eos worth of gold each day and its fun playing and earning alongside. Since prospectors is an economic game, many players got quite agitated with the downtime since rent was being taken. Downtime problems shouldn't affect real economy games that deal with time and as such players are right if they demand compensation. But then, one cannot only compensate land owners since other players without land also lost the same amount of time. This decision is quite dicey and no information has been shared about whether there is going to be profit returns or any compensation. I personally think the chain should continue to run and further downtime in the future shouldn't happen.
