Don't worry be happy

Stomachs have churned with worry since the beginning of time. And it was no different in Jesus' day. Take His friend Martha, for example. Let's skip over to Luke 10 : 40- 42 and check out this lady with a bad case of worries. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work myself? Tell her to help me! Ouch!"Martha , Martha, " the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her. "Martha tension turns to worry, and Jesus gives her a dose of reality. Now let's get back to the action of the Sermon on the Mount and eavesdrop on Christ' soothing solution about worry. " But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteous, and and all these things will be added unto you" (Matthew 6 : 33 NKJV). This is Jesus' answer to hearts that are bursting with worry. Look to Him first, that's the important thing. Jesus wants to have first place in our hearts, and He'll take care of the rest. ----------------------A life without worries --- impossible, right? Wrong, you can rest assured that God cares for you:'' The Lord is good, a refuge in time of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him
(Nahum 1: 7). And you rest assured that God is in control: "Be still, and know that I am God;I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth"( Psalm 46 :10 ). ---- When you find yourself stressing out about something, stop and pray. Focus on God, and He'll always provide the answer----- always. It may not always be the answer you're expecting or within your own time frame, But His response will always be for the best--- always.
