Ok, so this was originally meant as a funny thing, based on a post about resteeming too much. The original post was written by @jessamynorchard. Here is a link to the original post. You should definitely read it.

I think that this is VERY good advice. I am dealing with that currently. I am trying to get a new tag going, and am promoting/resteeming all of the people that use it. I have to scroll down a lot to see by lasst blog, before today. I have thought about it, and even considered using my own tag, with "thewineman" as the tag, just to make it easy to find only my posts. This is still something I am considering, because my blog is now filled up with other great stuff.

The support of other is the great thing about steemit, I have never seen anything like it. However, there can definitely be a little downside to resteeming everyone, just because you follow them. I will continue to support my people, and resteem them regularly. I like the community that it is forming, and have already seen new people get matched up and support each other.
