Blue Behind The Grey

in #dsound6 years ago

I used to play this piano piece from time to time and always liked it but there was always something It needed but didn't know what that was, I tried reverbs and other effects, adding strings, but it didn't do the job, then one day I played it holding the pedal down all the way through and that was it, it added the certain ambience I was looking for. The answer is just staring us in the face sometimes. It's a simple piece but it has something I think, hope you enjoy

Great atmosphere/ambience to that, nice piece too =)

Beautiful !!!

thanks a lot mate

Excellent Playing My friend , Yeah the pedal adds the Sustain on the notes, Holds a longer note , Great Piano , nice when you move up a octave towards the End , Very Cool:)

thanks mate , yeah i use peddal all the time but not just held constant like this it just happened by accident and suited the song perfect :)

First time I hear this one. I enjoyed your playing the piano very much! Wasn't sure if the vocals would kick in at some point, but I think leaving it instrumental was a good choice. Great Work!

yeah first time i have shared this one anywhere, thank you my friend , looking forward to your new album :)

i just had to follow you again, thats weird i already was

I noticed there's a discrepancy between steemit and DSound, in relation to follows. I often get the impression I am not following someone anymore that I thought I was, from their DSound page offering me a "follow" button, but when I go check back on steemit, I already am following them. I wonder what causes that...

its a mystery mate :)

I love the deceptively simple rhythm, holding strong throughout, only stopping once in a while for effect, with all of the changes in the melody, and the higher octave at the end... it's beautiful, it somehow conjures the whole mood and dynamics of a pop song with just piano.

wow thanks for the great comment my friend :)
