Introduce Yourself #2 - Self-reflection and what I've learned from being an entrepreneur

It’s been 7 months since my first introduction (https://steemit.com/food/@thepinksuitcase/meet-the-pink-suitcase), and so many things happened since! My life has gone up-side down, and I’ve never felt better. We finally caught some sun during springtime in the Netherlands this past month. So that’s a great quick win, but the real changes have been in my personal life.

When I first started Steemit, I just quit my job at Hilti to start my own business. That’s been the biggest decision I’ve ever made, and I haven’t regretted it one single bit. Sure, I wish I could already have made a million by now employing 6 employees. And being driven around by a personal chauffeur to whichever exotic destination imaginable. Not yet, but the only way to go big is to dream big.

It’s been such a bumpy ride, and fortunately thanks to my friends, family and partner, I have all the support I need to make it a success. Already in the first 3 months of my business I reached my goals for 2018. I’ve had some high ups, and certainly some low lows, but the experience has been invaluable so far. The inspirational people I’ve met, the personal growth I’m still going through, the knowledge I’m obtaining to stay on top of my game. It’s been the most uncertain time of my life, and yet I’ve never felt more in control. I’m embracing every bit of the journey, and so thankful for all that’s happened in my life.
