The time of food and produce accountability is becoming easier than ever because it`s not right to let people starve when stores, markets and restaurants dump otherwise edible food into the garbage and further fill up another landfill somewhere. why not just give it away to people, groups or individuals who are in need and could use it makes a lot of humanitarian sense.

oh dear, i go through great lengths not to ... old bread i turn into pancetta and stuff but some things you just can't salvage lol. I try never to buy too much perishables i can't keep in the freezer, let's say : "only if i have no choice" (after all, eaten rotten potatoes wouldnt save the what about the children in china or south america either)
