The Power of Affliction
There were many new abilities introduced to the Splinterlands when the one year anniversary promo cards came out. I ignored many of these abilities at first, partially due to ignorance of their abilities but also because I didn't have many promo cards. Now that I have acquired some of these promo cards, I have been learning
what their abilities can do.
Here is a replay of a recent battle I was involved in featuring the Goblin Chef and how powerful this new ability of affliction can be. Once a monster is afflicted, that monster is unable to be healed for the remainder of the battle.

As you can see, the goblin chef landing affliction is what sealed this victory for me. The affliction ability combined with the poison ability makes the Goblin Chef a monster I'm proud to own.

Ah that’s a great ability to have especially when you have to deal with those healer mele cards people through out! I plan on powering this one up to the max so I can use it regularly

Yes, this ability is so great that now I want to level up my Lord of Fire so he will have the Affliction ability as well.
