New year is almost upon us. All the new things we will not do again or the positive things we will do. Old acquaintances forgotten and new resolutions will be set.

No this is not a do good'er post. Or talk about the season. The wrong done to us is what we are asked to forget. The doing something positive for ourselves counters what we want to forget.

For the most part the changes and things we want to forget will last a week or two and then people will fall back to old routines.

The government we oppose will be replaced by another we come to oppose, because the obligation to the people who they are elected to represent is very rarely visible. A greater representation of business is given than to those of a nations people.

This happens constantly. The reason why is each government party or individual is a company. A company, not a representative of you. Your vote might be the one that got them elected. The share holders of that company are the ones those elected are obligated to return profits to.

No matter which side is elected. The same thing will be seen. Out sourcing of labour. Contracts for construction that run over budget. Neglect of the electoral voice.

This same thing has gone on for centuries. Over this time, the same system has been fine tuned to give the electoral less of a voice, less freedom and greater hardship.

It is no longer affordable to be single, you need a partner and more to be able to purchase a home to live in. In the coming years, the mortgage taken out will have the last years of the mortgage paid by your children. Should your children not be able to afford payments. The property will return to ownership of the bank after your 50-60 years of repayments.

I can say the same thing for Steem and Steemit. There is nothing there for what can be done. Just a visual that will grow the same accounts over and over. The idea of having a currency is gone and not looked to at all. Those involved in the Crypto world, with Steem or other tokens. Have no wish to see it used to negate powers the banks hold over the financial system. To me at least it seems like just another money grab and those at the top dictate (just like in the real world) what the rest can and cannot do.

Personally I do not think it is that difficult to create a stable currency. One that can be used daily without massive fluctuations in the price.

€50 Million is what would be needed to create the environment that would enable a Crypto to work like any other currency on a daily basis. The magic in this is that it does not need an initial investment of €50 Million. It can begin with smaller amounts that can help gain the rest. It only takes 1 Million Steem and Steem to have a value of €50.

Everyone is sitting around waiting for someone else to do the work. Get the price to rise so they can cash in. All this waiting for the other to do, so far has left us with nothing. Crypto is making no difference to the world banks. In fact, the world banks are gaining control over Crypto and its markets. This is all down to those in the Crypto market and the same here on Steem doing only what will benefit their own pocket.

The mentality within Steemit seems to be to forget the advantages of a currency in the Crypto-sphere are forgotten. A concentrated effort to bring people to the Steem blockchain by mass on-boarding is promoted on Steemit. The MASS! on-boarding however will not happen through Steemit. It will happen through the new SMT's that are coming. The benefits of mass on-boarding will be restricted to those who already have. Mass on-boarding to Steemit is unlikely to happen as rewarding such a mass new population is not possible.

The truth about Steemit is it is controlled by a very small minority, who do not wish to dilute the control they have over the platform. This can be seen by looking through the history of Hard Forks, amplified in the last. An increase in rewards for those with a high amount of Steem power and a reduction for those with a low. Creating a gap in equality that makes any new member to the Steemit platform impossible to gain growth.

The system's implemented by the same people over and over again only serve those limited few wanting that change.

The same thing that happens in the physical world and those who yield power are rampant here on Steemit. Additionally here on Steemit. Your intellectual property can be taken and used by others for their own purpose. This was shown with the Steem foundation. Those who gained position to guide the formation of the foundation took the intellectual property of others combined them to create an alternative. The same people will speak out against plagiarism. Yet still perform the same act.

The people or the platform, I lose a bit more faith in each day. Some days more than others depending on what I reflect on.
