Aside from litter tray sizes, the type of litter is consideration for many owners who seek the best solution for the household. While normal cat litter is often gravel like, there are many different mediums that provide different functions in the way of litter service. Kittens are curious creatures that may taste or eat from the litter box. This can be problematic if the media is clay or gravel based and cause blockages and injury. Many owners will choose a natural based litter substance that will be safe for consumption in the event that the kitten begins to nibble at the media.
