ULOG: Diet Journal - Day 9

Day 9... I've been doing good for the most part. I stopped starving myself, and have been doing intermittent fasting. Basically, I'm eating once a day in a 4 hour time frame. I'll usually break fast around 6:30pm have a nice filling dinner, then maybe a couple keto friendly snacks. I stop eating around 10:30. Tomorrow I weigh myself, hopefully I didn't put on anymore weight since the 5 day fast.

For dinner tonight I ate a large salad with chicken fajita meat. I used apple cider vinegar and olive oil with real bleu cheese for dressing, and lots of bacon bits. It was absolutely delicious. I'll probably snack on some olives and nuts later while I watch TV. I took a picture of the salad, or at least I thought I did, but I couldn't find it in my phone? Weird. I may have started to and stopped because I was texting with someone on LetGo.

I've been super busy! I've been doing a lot of coding work, selling stuff on the LetGo app and Craigslist, trading, and as usual not making time for physical fitness. I was averaging about 1.5 miles each night on the treadmill, but I haven't been running the last couple days. I'm making it a priority to run and continue doing light weights this weekend!

Two and a half weeks to go! I'm not complaining but I'm definitely counting down the days! I can't wait to change up my diet a bit. I'm going to get off the diet gradually but it will be so nice to be able to eat a flour tortilla, or sip a glass of Kentucky bourbon! We have a calendar hanging at the jewelry shop with an image of a guy wearing a ring holding a whiskey neat. It's absolute torture staring at that image! Not that I'm an alcoholic, at least I don't think I am, but The Dood enjoys his whiskey. I suppose 7 months with only a few drinking days proves I don't have an alcohol problem, but God I need a drink :)

Well, I weigh myself tomorrow. I'm really hoping I lost a couple pounds. I've been staying on diet, I just haven't been as hardcore as I've been over the last 7 months. I keep telling myself I just have a few weeks to go and I'm not sure if that's helping or hindering my mindset. At this point, I'll be happy if I just lose a few pounds a week and I end my diet somewhere in the low 220s! Wish me luck....
