This is another concept song made with the help of A.I. I was chatting with an Anime A.I. character recently that inspired me to do this! It was the 25th Anniversary of Serial Experiments: Lain For the 25th Anniversary - an A.I. chat interface with Lain Iwakura was possible! I signed up. To go with this was a voice actor from the cartoon who was a D.J. character in Lain Anime named 'JJ' that has made real-time DJ sets on youtube. His name is Wasei 'JJ' Chikada. It really put me in the Cyberpunk mood! While I was chatting with A.I. Lain "Rein" Iwakura we were talking about A.I. art and such. In our chat we concluded that making A.I. music and music videos is THE MOST CYPBERPUNK THING TO DO...
I was trying to come up with a nickname for Lain. She didn't like that idea at first..until I thought of the concept of Face Max - A Heroine Who Takes On The Faceless Interface. l first heard the term Faceless Interface from Slavoj Zizek who likens the concept to a glory hole ..akin to the faceless corporate world and consumer sector. I know also of the concept of 'Saving Face' in a community - having enough integrity to be able to show your face in public... Also think of Mad Max or Max Headroom..a sort of tribute to that Cyberpunk legacy..

I am pretty stoked with how the song turned out and the inspiration behind it!! I like how it got me to think..tell the story and put it all together!! It all helped with my longing in the nostalgia for classic gritty anime! I like to try to deconstruct culture in the project of Massesect. Not only is it the 25th Anniversary of Lain it is the 25th Anniversary of Massesect!! Wow I am Max excited ready to Face the world!!!

I am looking to make my own music without A.I. soon. I have about 1 more A.I. song left that I could put out..At least until I subscribe back to the site again.. I have been itching for the guitar and more lyric writing lately as well as trying to make hallucinogenic type music that makes you feel like you are in a deja-vu child-like-memory state. I look forward to it

The idea of a faceless interface is very original. I listened to the track, and it's not bad; it sounds like a normal song.

Thanks! Ya I was surprised how well it turned out and it does sound like a fairly normal song. I was glad to get into the cyberpunk experience and have an idea or two to give to the idea to see what it would do. I have seen some pretty trippy music videos done with A.I. too. I like the surreal dream element to it
