Let's Learn From ASTA + My Personal Thoughts on LIFE!!! (Anime Talk 007)

in #life5 years ago (edited)

Asta, from the anime "Black Clover", lives in a place where magic is the basis of one's status. Those with really huge magical mana often comes from the royal family and those who are peasants usually have very little magic. For the main character, Asta, he is blessed with no magic at all. He has been criticized by many. He's been considered as the lowest of the low.

Despite that, this little buddy didn't give up. He worked twice, thrice or even a hundred times more than anyone. He sealed his mind and his heart towards his goal. He wanted to be the "Wizard King" of the kingdom despite being magicless. His position in life doesn't stop him from moving forward to his ultimate goal.

In life, we face a lot of difficulties and barriers. Sometimes, we just want to give up on the things that we want to do because we are easily affected by the standards set by other people. However, I think we shouldn't be that way. I always keep in mind that what I do is for myself and for the people who love me. I don't live in this world to please other people.

Unfortunately, a lot of people in the world are bound by standards. I guess social media also affects this way of thinking. Sad as it may seem, but it's the truth. People browse their "friends'" social media accounts and start comparing themselves to them. WHY ARE PEOPLE DOING THIS? Why do we have to compare? We are all created unique. Don't compare yourself to others especially if this comparison will only pull you deeper to the abyss of no return.

Just do your thing! Pursue your dreams and your passion. Never give up and everything else will follow. On the contrary, we still have to know our limitations. Never give up, but always know when to let go of things or people that make your life toxic. ;)

This quote is also from Asta and I find it really relatable and encouraging. He was born magicless, moreover, an orphan... however, he's doing his best to overcome all adversities that come his way. He strives each day to improve and to become better alongside his teammates and loved ones.

This is pretty relatable especially for me. I wasn't really born from a poor family and I grew up very blessed. I had shelter, food, family, and even some luxury to enjoy when I was a child. But as we know, life is a constant change.

Our family had the biggest challenge in our life when I was about to graduate from elementary school. From the very comfortable life in a wonderful city, we all started from scratch in the countryside. We lost our house, our properties, our money, but we still had our family and the determination to move forward.

From having the luxury of going to school on a school bus and a steward to carry my bag for me, it changed to going to school on foot while carrying my heavy backpack full of school stuff. But hey! It was fun and I got to appreciate the little things. I guess that was the start of my very adventurous life.

Adventurous, in a way, because it's full of ups and downs... twists and turns. I know, it's not easy. However, I have learned to enjoy the ride.

I don't say that my life is great now, but I have learned to adapt to any adversities. I have learned to look at the brighter side of things without neglecting the dark side. We shouldn't neglect the dark side, instead, let's accept them and learn from them.

I hope that Asta and I have encouraged you to face life head on with a positive mind and heart. Don't give up and keep the awesomeness that you are! (^_^)v Have a great one!

Agree! Never lose hope jud.

But I also think that Asta is fortunate enough to have family and friends who support him. It's hard to have a positive outlook in life when everyone around you thinks you're worthless.

It only takes one person to make a difference in someone's life. And Asta is lucky to have many

So be a blessing to others ☺️.

Be a someone to others who have no one.
:) :) :)

True... that's why he's fighting not only for himself nor by himself but alongside his teammates and loved ones. Even his greatest "rival" serves as an inspiration for him... :)

It only takes one person to make a difference in someone's life.

TRUE THIS!!! <3 And you are that person for me... Lablab ate~! <3

Anime always have really nice and positive characters that can help you learn a lot and see live from a different perspective :-D

That is super true!!! <3 Well, it still depends on the kind of anime you watch... ;) Thanks for dropping by~! ^^

By the way, what kind of anime do you like?

I watch everything and anything that gets me interested, I've watched over 300 shows and 4k+ episodes overtime lol!

I'm always a bit behind on current stuff, last week I finished watching the rising of the shield hero and right now I'm just waiting for another show to fall into my lap and watch it, If I don't manage to find it, I'll probably just go and watch Attack on Titan s3 that I've not watched yet or just wait for october for Boku no Hero Academia s4.

I have been really into shonen action-ey things lately but I also like shows that are more slice of life with romance and a bit of drama (but not too much drama lol)

I haven't watched The Rising of the Shield Hero, yet... Is it good? The latest AoT is great, but will give you a headache and heart attack.. lol... I'm also waiting for BnHA S4...

Nice~! Shounen is fun to watch... I love it and sports, too... :) Anime is life.. hahaha

Are you watching Kimetsu no Yaiba?

Shield hero is pretty good, especially because it gives isekai a nice refresh in how the main character is presented through the story.

The last sports anime I watched was Free! the swimming one :^) and I kid you not someone that knows I don't watch airing anime unless it's a very special case recommended me Kimetsu no Yaiba today as well because it ended and I could binge it :^)

Ohh... I haven't watched a lot of isekai anime... but it sounds cool, so I'll add that to my list.. :)

Ohh.. Free! was a good one.. I was hoping for another season, but I think they're only releasing a movie next. :(

I was like that at first... but my impatience got me.. and backfired at me every week. LOL
