Delicious Beetroot Cinnamon Chips
Ingredients
- 4 beets;
- 3 tablespoons of sugar;
- 2 tablespoons of salt;
- 950 ml of water;
- 2 tablespoons of cinnamon;
- vegetable oil - for frying.
Cooking
Cut the beets into very thin circles. Pour sugar and salt into a deep bowl, cover with water and stir until dissolved.
Soak the beets in this liquid for 40 minutes. Then fold it in a colander, put on a paper towel and dry thoroughly.
Put the circles in a bowl, add the cinnamon and mix by hand. In a deep container, heat the oil to 160 ° C. If you do not have a thermometer, put a small piece of bread in the butter. If the butter around it bubbled, then it is ready to be roasted.
Put beetroot slices in butter. Fry for 5–8 minutes until bubbles appear on their surface on both sides. Put the chips on a paper towel. They will be crispy when cool.
