Art! Art!

Our children are so free, completely open to learn everything given to them. Children and art are two amazing things that can make life more colorful and livable in our world. As you may have seen before, I have been writing about art for a while. Today, I would like to talk about some simple but efficient ways to educate our children about art and show them the ways of creating art.

As our children are so precious and pure, they are really eager to create something new and good. They don't have any negative characteristics that older people might have, so if you show them the ways of creating art, you might come up with amazing results. One of the easiest way of inspiring them about art is to give them painting tools and lots of cardboards on which they can draw as they wish.

Painting freely!

Painting is a useful way of activating their artistic skills. Important point in having painting activities is that they should be with their ideas, but it is important to give them an outline. Even though their imagination is so wide and limit is the sky, they should know that there is a topic that they should focus to create something valuable and related to the topic at the end of the activity.

It can be also a good idea to show them a video of the topic that you are planning to apply in the activity. As you can see in the image above, there are lots of competitions where your students can join with their works. Helping them to join in competitions can be a rewarding and motivating way for our little children. It is important duty of a teacher to be active outside the school too.

Poetry

Art is not only about drawing. I am sure, all our children share similar cells with Pablo Picasso, but we can help them to be involved in other branches of art like poetry. When the matter is poetry, the first thing is to show them what poetry is. It is a good idea to read them some poems from time to time. In this point, it is important to choose suitable poems for them so that they can the meaning of it and feel it.

After showing them some examples, we can also encourage them to write some simple poems so that they can try to create their first poems as the poets of future. It is necessary to give them inspiration and provide help while they are doing that. I am sure, your student will love that and become art lovers in the next stages of their lives. They should be educated about art when they are young, so the love of art can be permanent in their hearts.

Dance

When we think about the branches of art, one of the main thing is dance. I think, it is one of them best forms of art that is loved by all students. Being active is both healthy and enjoyable for kids. They might think that it is like daily thing which is not linked with art at all, but they will surely learn more about dance and they might be interested in dance professionally later in their education and personal life.

There are lots of important days in all nations. For example, primary school and high schools usually organize dance shows for these special day so that children can be more engaged in art and show their works to others in public. By doing this, we can also help them to have something to be remembered in future, they can always feel that art makes their life more beautiful and meaningful.
