For this post I thought I would share a few shots around the SBC restaurant on New Haven Avenue in Milford CT, on the web it is described on one page as
Numerous house-brewed beers accompany hearty grub from burgers to pizza at a regional chain outlet.
And that is true the food is great I have eaten there often, but it misses saying about the nice views it has with many windows looking out over the river running beside it, Which we enjoyed today when
we had lunch there today, for the first time in well over a year or two, My wife has dietary restrictions and we do not eat out too much because of them but they were kind enough to adjust a dish on the menu that she could safely eat and she really enjoyed it
Lets start with a shot looking across New Haven Avenue, I love the brickwork and the old style tower on the side of the building

This is the side of the building, and you can see the two cool towers on either side of the main road, and the windows with the view I mentioned earlier, whenever we went there I wanted one of the tables by these windows a nice meal, a cool beer (Yes my visits there were back when I could have a beer or three with a meal )

Now back on New Haven Avenue for this final shot, at the time I took this shot was back in Winter and this area was all covered up, but now it is open and on a nice warm day that area is packed with people and often with local bands playing, its quite the happening spot, but the only shot I have of this area is of it wrapped up for winter

I love these little local restaurants oh, many times they are surrounded by local character and we bypass it with our eyes because we are so used to it. The view of the Tower and the stone work in the bridge it's so consistent with Connecticut in New England in in general, but that doesn't make it not spectacular common it just makes it another beautiful piece to the puzzle. I love the way you grabbed the angle of the bridge so that I could see through at the waterfall coming.
The towers really are beautiful and adds a nice touch to an already pretty town. I know the area was all buttoned up for the winter, where the bands once played, but can you believe that we are at that place in the sun once again! Thank you for showing off the beauty in your own backyard.

That is a pretty cool little building. I like how the metal roof really doesn't detract from it. You would think it might make it stand out as being newer, but it really doesn't.
I do agree it is somewhat out of place with the rest of the structure, but it does not stand out or detract from the building I also feel

The bridge is called the memorial bridge and was built in 1889 to honor the city founders and Native Americans on the site of the city’s first mill.
Ah! A date! I wanted to say that it looks very interesting JJ.

MY wife has a very restrictive diet so we dont go out for meals much but she felt like taking the risk on Friday so it was great for us both :)

Romantic old building style, love the bridge over the water. A delightful place to stop off for a pint and some food, awesome photography as always!

they describe themselves as Farm Fresh American fare
Yesterday my wife had a Chicken Alfredo dish and I had a Chicken Cordon Blue sandwich both were very good
